Evaluation:

This website has a good color combination. It uses black, a neutral color as a background, and makes the pictures and words stand out more than other schools' website. The contents contains information that are updated, unlike some of the others' school websites. There are a lot of pictures in the website which help to enhance the content. The fonts are easy to read and the color stands out prominently from the background layer.

There's a slide show animation at the banner which I find it really eye catching and attractive, It is a great way to get a visitors attention. As pictures tells a thousand words, the banner shows their school values and how it's expressed out with the student's expression. At the first look of the banner, it makes viewers excited how school life is like over there.

The links and navigation buttons are well organized and in perfect working order. The page is organized with drop down menus which would be easy for viewers to find any information about the school.

When introducing a CCA, the main page is filled regarding the choir. I particularly like how they organized their page, where announcements and relevant things going on about choir is being sub-linked instead of having it together with the main page.


How does this apply to your website:
As my target audience is primary 6 students finding a suitable secondary school, there is an emphasis to have pictures and animations to attract their attention. The fonts and size of wordings used are also important, where some important notices are to be made bigger and also in color depending on the background. In addition, I'll make the website more organized by using relevant sub links allows viewers to get to information easier and faster. Color combinations are also important, i will be using bright colors which attracts their attention.
